EVENT
FOR FAMILY & BRIDAL PARTY
A FEW NOTES BEFORE WE BEGIN: All events will take place within Cartagena’s historic Walled City, and each location is within walking distance of the others. Cartagena weather in May is hot and humid, with daytime highs of around 30°C. Many events are outdoors, please plan your outfits accordingly.
C0LOUR ETIQUETTE FOR THE WEEKEND: Please avoid wearing white or ivory for May 2-3rd events (with the exception of men’s suit shirts). For the Indian ceremony on May 1st, please avoid red or burgundy, as these colours are reserved for the bride.
After arriving in Cartagena and checking into your hotel, we would love for our family and bridal party to stop by Casa de Indias at any point after 4:00 PM. We’ll be hosting a relaxed open house with drinks and a buffet of traditional Colombian food available throughout the evening. It will be a chance for us to spend time together, settle in, and ease into the wedding week as a family.
